We created a test system for testing Electronics Control Unit`s IP requirements.
Challenge
- Electrical and leakage test required for ECU
- IP67 requirement
- 8 pcs of HSD connectors for electrical connection
- Labelling of PASSED products (label position underneath)
- Test data transfer and process control remotely
- Limited space available
Solution
- Separate fixture positions for electrical- and leakage test.
- Custom made leak test interface. Nolek leak test instrument used for testing.
- Custom made test probe pad suitable for 8pcs of HSD connectors.
- Vacuum manipulator for label is placed inside the product fixture together with 2d code reader for space saving.
- Test data transfer and process control remotely (over OPC UA).
